3D Studio Max: Box-modeling a cat

We will create today a fairly simple cat starting with a box primitive. I'm not going to write about how to move each pixel, but the images should be clear enough.
We start with a Box 80 units long, 40 wide and 40 high with 4 Length Segs, 2 Width Segs and 2 Height Segs. Go ahead and convert it to an Editable Poly.
Next we start pushing the vertices to get a bit rounder, organic shape.
Continue the process by moving the corner vertices in the Front View as shown in the image.
Using the Extrude tool in the Polygon selection mode, extrude the two front legs of our cat.
Adjust the extruded pixels by aligning them. We will adjust many pixels during the creation process. Feel free to do so as you see fit.
Extrude the same polygons twice more as seen in the image. Then chamfer the edge as shown to give the paw a more natural look.
Let's start extruding the hind legs the same way. I've also adjusted the verts of the front legs a bit.
Continue the same steps as with the front legs to create the paws.
Adjust the pixels where the neck will start and then extrude the two faces using the Bevel tool with Bevel Type set to Group.
Continue extruding and beveling the two edges up to the snout. Shift the last bevel in place to move the nose&mouth lower from the middle of the face.
Bevel two polygons from the back of the head (using By Polygon Bevel Type) to create the ears and adjust the top pixels so that the ears focus ahead.
For the tail, we will chamfer a vertex as shown.
Extrude the created face, adjust the pixels a bit and...
...extrude it a few more times. Then throw a TurboSmooth modifier with 2 iterations on our object. We now have a pretty nifty cat.
I've added two small spheres so our cat can see.
And this is my result after throwing on some simple materials.
