There are already a ton of fire/flame tutorials out there, but unlike most of them, this one doesn't involve the liquify filter in an attempt to draw flames. Instead, this one shows you how to use filters, levels, and curves in order to achieve a stylized effect that can be used on text (or anything else for that matter).
